Episcopal Health Foundation has awarded Bluebonnet Trails Community Services funds to develop a community engagement curriculum/academy to train affordable housing resident leaders and staff in Bell, Burnet, Milam and Williamson counties to influence and advocate for people to have healthy lifestyles and health-promoting neighborhoods. LifePark Center, Temple College and Granger Housing Authority are partners in developing, implementing, and evaluating the Elevate Place community engagement academy. The initiative expands a successful Granger project into five additional sites and furthers LifePark Center’s mission to serve as a hub where people of all ages have access to healthy choices and a caring community to live fulfilled lives.
